Among the many birds of Ostheimer, we swans are the largest. Elegant and majestic it is when I glide silently across the water, radiant white with my long, curved neck. Nothing escapes my watchful eyes, and should anyone get too close to my cygnets, I command respect with my powerful, outstretched wings. With these, we swans can fly beautifully long distances, but we are happiest on our peaceful lake, together with our dear neighbors, the ducks.
